Delta Milwaukee Drill Press - Benchtop
September 8, 2006 – 10:34 pm Delta Drill Press Model 620
Circa Early 1930’s
I purchased this machine from a friend who’s grandfather owned it previously. It is in decent condition but needs some work. I believe it has sleeve bearings and is one of (if not the) first drill presses made by delta. This drill press came outfitted with the Delta Grip chuck as shown in the photo below. This is a early keyless chuck and as the ad I have for it shows, it has alot of pieces.
The drill has alot of runout and vibration which is most likely cause by the old belt and some wear on the spindle. I have since given this machine to my father.

I have a drill press with a grip chuck. There is a broken part that forces the jaws on the bit. I would like to know if there are replacement parts for this….
