Duro Overarm Router

June 11, 2008 – 1:21 pm

In February a guy added a Duro Overarm Router to the owwm photo indexx that had belonged to his late father. I, having found a fence for this machine in a garage somewhere (but never acquired it) had researched this machine before and had been on the lookout for one. Seeing that he was in California I sent him an email mentioning how if he ever wanted to get rid of it I was in the market.

After many emails back and forth events coincided for me to swing by his fathers old house while taking my daughter on a trip to an Aunt’s birthday party. Greg met me there with his mother and we loaded the machine, which was the last item left in the house as it was in escrow. We chatted for a bit and I then I was back on the road.

Back when we I had been emailing Greg about the machine and we started talking about the price, he said something that shocked me about how it seems like his father would want the router to go to me and it should be happy in my shop.

So, as the story goes I got to meet two nice people and was given a very fine machine. Yes, as in free.

  3. Art,

Delta bought this design from Duro, and they have the manual. Give them a call and they will probably send it to you for free.
